Stone House - Czech Museum of Silver

Get to know the history of the bourgeoisie thanks to the permanent exhibition in the completely reconstructed Gothic Stone House, which is really unique among Gothic buildings.

In the newly reconstructed Gothic Stone House, two permanent exhibitions await visitors. "The Royal Upper Town - Bourgeois Culture and Life in the 17th-19th Century" introduces the life of the bourgeoisie in the upper town, the activities of the church and the economic background of the town.

In the two-storey cellars of the Stone House, visitors will find the exposition "Lapidarium.

The permanent exhibitions are complemented by short-term exhibitions.

The Stone House is open from March to November.

The brick lookout tower with a restaurant named Havířská bouda stands on the Kaňk hill near Kutná Hora. The place where it is located was widely visited in the past. Since the beginning of the 19th century there was a hut here, later converted into a restaurant.
